Ingredients

- 1 avocado (ripe, chopped)
- 2 tomatoes (quartered)
- 1/2 cup cilantro (minced)
- 3 limes
- 3 scallions (thinly sliced)
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 cans tuna (drained)
- 1 tsp. chile flakes (arbol, may substitute cayenne)
- salt and ground black pepper

Directions
- Whisk together the olive oil, 2 tablespoons lime juice, and chile flakes. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Combine the tomatoes, scallion, cilantro, and tuna. Add the salad dressing, tossing to coat.
- Add the remaining tablespoon of lime juice to the avocado and sprinkle with salt. Add to the salad, tossing carefully.
- Serve.

This is a great quick meal! We just returned from vacation and I needed a recipe for the ingredients our housesitters left behind. And we lacked the celery my wife demands for regular tuna salad!
I backed off one tomato - 2 is too much.
3 limes must be a typo, so I used one lime that gave me 3 TBLs of juice.
I swapped diced red onion for the chili flakes - my wife can't handle too much heat.
This turned out great! Served over mixed greens with Ritz on the side! Yum!

Fabulous! I used dill instead of cilantro because it's what I had on hand. I will be making this again.
