This was delicious and easy! I cooked and drained beef before adding garlic and onion. I found I was out of basil and substituted thyme. I used stewed tomatoes instead of diced tomatoes, because that was on the shelf. I had to make soup for a sick friend and had never made soup with ground beef before this. Great and quick, easy recipe!! Will definitely make again.
