- 3 cups tomatillos (finely diced, about 10-12 tomatillos)
- 8 green chiles (roasted, diced, this was about 3 oz diced roasted green chiles, could use canned green chiles, but remember they will be hotter due to seeds)
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 2/3 cup diced red onion (finely, or use white onion)
- salt
- ground black pepper
- hot sauce (green Tobasco to taste, or other, I used about 1/2 tsp.)
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 cup chopped fresh cilantro (finely, or less)
