- 400 grams rice vermicelli (meehoon - soaked in water to soften and drained 1 packet)
- 4 Tbsp. oil
- 3 cloves chopped garlic
- 1 shallots (sliced into thin pieces)
- 1 Tbsp. soybean paste
- 2 Tbsp. tom yum paste
- 3 Tbsp. dried shrimp
- 100 grams chicken fillets (cut into thin slices marinate in some soy sauce)
- 1 piece fishcake (cut into thin slices)
- 1 piece tofu (deep fried andinto thick strips)
- 100 grams beansprouts
- 100 grams chives (cut into 4 cm length)
- 1 carrots
- 5 leaves kaffir lime
- 2 sticks lemongrass (shred the top part into small pieces)
- 1 ginger flower (or torch ginger flower cut into thin strips)
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 300 mL hot water
- salt and ground black pepper
