Description
The key to this dish is making the batter carefully so that it rises nicely. Beat the eggs, then, whisk in the flour a little at a time, mixing well. Gradually add in the milk, making a smooth batter. Rest it for 1-2 hours. Preheat the oven and roasting tin. Fry the sausages in dripping or oil until browned. Transfer to the hot roasting tin, heat through, pour in the batter mix and bake for 25 minutes until risen. Serve.

- 3 medium eggs
- 250 mL plain flour (cup of)
- 300 mL semi-skimmed milk
- 6 cumberland sausages (good-quality, approx. 450g)
- 1 dash Knorr Chicken Touch of Taste (or Beef)
- 25 grams beef dripping (or vegetable oil)
- gravy (to serve)

Directions
- Preheat oven to 190˚C.
- Break the eggs into a large bowl and whisk vigorously.
- Add the flour little by little, sprinkling it over the surface of the beaten eggs and whisk until it makes smooth paste.

turned out really nice, made 2. 1 with pork sausages the other with meat free sausages. Family ate without complaint

The batter was a little stodgy but probably due to my partner opening the oven half way through!
