Ingredients

- 8 oz. penne pasta
- 1 red pepper
- 1 yellow pepper
- 1 green pepper
- 1 white onion (large)
- 3 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 6 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1 tsp. cracked black pepper

Directions
- Prepare pasta in a pot, using 2 tsp. salt in the water. Once cooked, strain the pasta and return it to the pot.
- Meanwhile, cut the peppers and onions into thin strips.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium high heat.
