- 100 grams sweetcorn (/3½oz frozen, kernels)
- 125 grams sliced leeks (/4½oz frozen, or 1 medium leek, trimmed and finely sliced)
- 90 grams haddock fillets (/3¼oz frozen smoked-)
- 4 large free range eggs (optional)
- parsley leaves (handful roughly chopped fresh flatleaf, to garnish, optional)

This was a huge hit with the fam. It has so much flavour and is perfect for a cold day.

It was OK. I’ve made quite a few much tastier haddock chowders and it also took me twice the time expected to get everything cooked fully and the flavours to permeate otherwise it would have been really bland. It might be some things I did wrong but I’ll stick to fresh ingredients and those that take longer to get to the end result in future.

Quite simple to make and was absolutely stunning! I did add streaky bacon and a chicken stock cube to the recipe. will definitely be making this again!
