Ingredients

- 4 steaks (1/2-inch-thick, eye of round)
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. seasoning salt
- cracked black pepper (Freshly)
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 eggs (and a little milk for thinning)
- 1 liter canola oil
- gravy (West Texas)
- 4 Tbsp. oil (reserved from the pan you cooked the steaks in)
- 4 Tbsp. flour (grab some of the seasoned flour from breading the steaks)
- 2 cans whole milk (evaporated)
- 1 1/2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder (each, and onion powder)
- 1 tsp. salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- fresh thyme (Garnish: I don’t think there is anything better than, optional)
