- 0.5 oz. cinnamon syrup (recipe below)
- 3 dashes orange bitters
- apple slice (for garnish, optional)
- 1 liter bourbon (I like to use Bulleit Rye)
- 4 gala apples
- 2 whole star anise
- 4 whole cloves
- 6 cinnamon sticks
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 4 cinnamon sticks (broken into large pieces.)
