This was an easy way to make a roast faster than my usual slow-cooker recipe. It was very flavorful. I added a cup of beef broth near the end and cooked it for another 20 minutes.

Fabulous!!
Had a 2.6 lb roast. Cooked it at 475° for 18 minutes. Turned the oven off and left it in the oven for 30 minutes. Took it out and let it rest for 15 minutes and it was a perfect medium rare. Enough drippings to make a rich dark brown gravy. Delicious!!
