- 2 garlic cloves (crushed and finely chopped)

- 15 mL pepper (Turkish, paste, biber salcasi, preferred – buy it from Amazon or use tomato paste)
- 60 mL olive oil
- 10 mL dried spearmint
- 5 mL ground sumac (or more)
- 5 mL red pepper flakes (or more Turkish, urfa biber – buy it from Amazon)
