- 2 cakes (crushed yeast)
- 1 cup whole milk (lukewarm)
- 1 cup flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 8 egg yolks
- 2/3 cup powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla sugar
- 2 1/2 cups flour (into bowl)
- 2 Tbsp. grain alcohol
- 1 stick butter (melted lukewarm)
- jam (Rose)
- 1 cup rose petals (free of any chemicals or pesticides)
- 3/4 cup water (with 3 tbsp removed and discarded)
- 3 Tbsp. kirsch (or Wiśniówka, strongly preferred)
- 1 lemon
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 pkg. pectin (powdered, and ¾ cup water)
- 2 lb. lard (top-quality, for frying donuts)
- granulated sugar (mixed with microplaned orange zest for garnish after cooking, optional)
