- 1 tsp. sunflower oil
- 2 stalks celery (optional)
- 1 leek (optional)
- 1 bunch parsley (optional)
- 1 sprig fresh marjoram (optional)
- 1 sprig fresh thyme (optional)
- 1 Tbsp. caraway seeds
- 3 bay leaves
- 4 cloves
- 2 large yellow onions (peeled and diced)
- 6 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 liter beef stock (roasted)
- 0.5 liters pilsner beer
- roux (a medium dark, made of equal parts flour and butter)
