- 1 batch shortcrust pastry (enough to line a quiche dish. Can be home made but I used Jus-Rol)
- 300 grams cauliflower (chopped into small florets)
- 2 tsp. oil (groundnut)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 onion (medium, finely sliced)
- 1 red bell pepper (medium, sliced)
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced (medium)
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 vegetable stock (cube, A cube that makes 500 ml stock ~ I used Kallo)
- 1/2 tsp. sage
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 3 Tbsp. nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp. black salt (optional)
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt (optional)
- 5 slices tomato (for garnishing, optional)
- vegan margarine (Melted, for brushing.)

Loved this! I had to change it around because I didn’t have all the ingredients so I swapped the chickpea flour for oatmeal and the cauliflower for brócoli and it worked well!
