Directions
- SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: KitchenAid® Bread Bowl; KitchenAid® Artisan Stand Mixer with dough hook; parchment paper; kitchen scale; food thermometer
- Prepare all your ingredients at your workstation. Warm the KitchenAid® Bread Bowl by filling it with hot water - then, pour out the water and pat dry.
- Add the flour, yeast, and salt into the Bread Bowl and affix it to your KitchenAid® Artisan Stand Mixer; insert the dough hook and lock the head in place.

The recipe is great, bread tastes very good. I did end up with a pretty bad steam burn on my hand and arm though. Please be careful when you remove the bowl in step 9. Steam had collected in the bowl and when I lifted it off the lid it billowed out. I will definitely be using oven mitts rather than just pot holders next time, and will be sure not to tilt the bowl towards any exposed skin.

First time making bread without a bread machine and it looks and smells delicious! Really easy to prepare.

tyes..it was very good..I think it may need a little more salt...I am making another with a little italian seasonings and a little and see how that works for me.
