    Not the best Thanksgiving Mashed potatoes... The sour cream overpowered the potatoes flavor and it had a sour taste. i will continue to make Mashed potatoes with butter and milk.

    Love it. I prefer to extremely boil my potatoes with the skin left on of any kind till there uber soft. then I'll put them into the kitchen-Aid mixer using the cake batter attachment ( Not to be confused with the wire wisk.) And I set it to slow or mix setting speed 1 or lower. Toss in real cooked Bacon! ( can use any bacon you please.) plus ALL of the fully loaded potato toppings you can manage to put in as well. Including heavy cream, butter, and sour cream. Then slowly speed up the mixer to no more than 3 or 4. May increase speed as needed based on your taste for texture you want to achieve. Once done. serve and enjoy!

    Awesome! If you add a healthy dash of minced garlic you basically get the amazing Greek dish "Skordalia". The Greek people might add olive oil and some yoghurt! 😊

    My wife and I really enjoyed making this recipe in our new home. Adding another potato to balance the cream/potato ratio wouldn’t hurt... we will definitely be using this recipe in the future!
