    I loved this recipe and my family did too! I used homemade cashew cream instead of milk and it turned out perfect. I did not add the kale because my family is not a fan. Will definitely make again.

    Like others, I threw this all in the crockpot. I made the rue first and then added it. I threw spinach in at the end for more veggies. I replaced the heavy cream with half and half. Also used thyme and dill. Very yum!

    Tasted great. Subbed thyme instead of tarragon because I didn’t have any and added some red pepper flakes. Would definitely make again!

    This is the best potato soup I’ve ever had. The whole family loved it. I substituted thyme for the tarragon. I also doubled the flour and added a 1/2 tsp of cayenne. I don’t like kale, so I left that out. I cooked it in a crockpot on high for 4 hours.

    I reduced steps by throwing everything in the Crock-Pot except the bacon, browned bacon then added to crockpot. I also used 3 1/2 cups of half and half and 4 cups water, I dissolved flour in water and it worked fine. I made a large amount

    It was very tasty and easy to make. I was especially surprised that the recipe didn't call for any milk and still turned out great. I only used 3c of broth instead of 4c and I used 1/2 cup cream and 1/2 c half-n-half. I also added some brussel sprouts that I cut up because I didn't have any kale but it was good just the same.

    Quick and tasty! Omitted kale and bacon, did not have on hand. Added fresh mushrooms, green onions, a pinch of fresh thyme and sage at the end of cooking.
