Yum! It was so fluffy and light. It was better than I had expected! Even though it took a little extra time it was well worth the wait. I will be using this again!

Fantastic! Definitely wait until the frosting is completely cooled. I was in more of a hurry than usual today, and it didn’t want to whip. However, I chilled it in the freezer for 10 minutes, and whipped it again - perfection! I used 1/4 C Ghirardelli powdered cocoa, which gave it an awesome taste, and crushed up a handful of Ghirardelli chocolate chips to fold in at the end. Really made the cake! PS I am a lousy frosting spreader, so excuse the inelegance!

Texture is perfection. I used unsalted butter may use salted next time. Makes enough to generously fill the inside and frost the outside of a two layer cake. The only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 is because of all the butter and a little lacking on taste imo, otherwise brilliant recipe. Thanks for sharing:)

Easy ingredients, requires little work, and some waiting time but so worth it. Absolutely perfect! This is my new frosting recipe for life.
