My five year old son gets so excited when I make this chicken. He says it’s his favorite food ever. I cut the recipe in half for just over one pound of chicken and it is plenty. I also add fresh garlic and some pepper.

It was a little bland even after seasoning the chicken before marinade. I would maybe add some Italian dressing or something extra just to add a little more flavor

Used balsamic vinegar. Added 4 cloves garlic, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 heavy tsp jerk seasoning, 2 tsp thyme and 1 tsp rosemary.

A great simple and quick marinade. Yes, there are other marinades that may taste slightly better - but this one is so simple to make.

This was literally the best chicken marinade I’ve used, and it was so simple it deserves extra stars for ease. J kensi Lopez alt talks extensively on the science behind marinades and this meets all the criteria for a perfect one. Soy sauce to tenderize and flavor with salt and umami. Sugar and vinegar for acid and a sweetness. Oil to balance and keep the meat perfectly grilled.

This marinade is so easy and flavorful! I had more compliments with this grilled chicken than I ever had! They kept eating and eating! I did add dehydrated onions and some garlic powder, but the base was amazing!

mmm mmm mmm! flavorful and juicy. i added some onion powder and miced garlic to the marinade. Also, i did half red wine vinegar and half regular.

Delicious!! I was a little hesitant because the ingredients don't seem like they'd mesh well together but this marinade is one of the best I've ever tried. Very flavorful after marinating for a few hours but for even more flavor, I recommend over night.

YUM!! When we ate that chicken I thought...Where has this marinade been all my life? I used chicken tenders instead of chicken breasts because that’s what I had and it was marinating for around 3 hours. I’ll be using this recipe A LOT, if not always.

The aroma while cooking was incredible. it made us super hungry for dinner. I cooked 6 large chicken breasts.... the recipe more then made enough marinade.
The chicken was fantastic, soft and flavorful .... only marinaded for 30 minutes too. I will definitely use this recipe again. Even thinking about using it with pulled pork.

Great recipe. I added a couple garlic cloves and did some chicken tenders. Awesome!
