- soy sauce (sprinkling of)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 chile peppers (small red or green, seeded and minced)
- 4 green onions (sliced thin)
- 4 kaffir lime leaves (thinly sliced, If you don’t have lime leaves, use 1 tsp. of grated lime peel and add it with the asparagus)
- 1 Tbsp. reduced sodium soy sauce
- 1 lb. asparagus (trimmed and cut into 1-inch lengths)
- 1 red bell pepper (small or 1/2 large, sliced into 1-inch lengths)
- 1/3 cup vegetable broth (fat-free)
- 1 cup fresh basil (chopped)
