I recommend cooking the sausage some before you mix everything in. The stewed texture was a little weird, though that might just have been the particular sausage I used. Other than that, it went over great.

I subbed half the hamburger for chopped brisket, and half the water for brisket juice. So very good!

I halve it since it’s just me and the husband, and it’s still a whole lotta stew. I didn’t have all the ingredients, but it’s very flexible. I just put in other veggies and another can of Ranch beans, stripped two cobs of corn I had in the fridge. Turned out very well with cornbread on the side.
