  • 1 chili (deseeded and finely chopped)
  • 4.25 ounces ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 burger bun (lightly toasted)
  • 2 leaves lettuce (torn)
  • 1 tomato (1/2 sliced, 1/2 chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon mayonnaise
  • 2 slices cheese
  • 1/4 avocado (peeled, pitted and chopped)
  • cherry tomatoes (to serve, optional)

    Directions

    1. Mix chopped onion, chili and ground beef then form into a burger patty. Heat oil then sear burger for 5-6 mins per side until cooked through. Serve on burger bun with lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, cheese, onion and avocado. Serve with cherry tomatoes, if using.
