This turned out great. I used monkfruit sugar and it was still great. Will use this recipe again.

This was delicious! Perfect ratio of salty/sweet/garlicky/gingery. This recipe is definitely a keeper

Quick and easy. I used low sodium soy and monkfruit sweetener instead....oh and ginger paste

Used rice vinegar instead of apple cider and doubled the garlic. Pretty good but I will make with ginger paste next time and omit the pepper.

This sauce is delicious! It’s plenty thick and tastes exactly like you’d want good restaurant teriyaki to taste. Sweet/salty balance can be easily adjusted.

I'm not sure where I went wrong, but this came out S-A-L-T-Y. Next time I will try low sodium soy and see if that helps.

it wasn't bad but I'm going to add more Ginger next time. the version I got wasn't as flavorful compared to store brands.
I made this again at 8:30 p.m. PST and added extra garlic& fresh ginger.
both of the extra ingredients really brought out the flavor 🙂

This is literally the only recipe of teriyaki I have ever seen with Vinegar... It stank up the entire house and definitely not in a good way. It tasted like no teriyaki I had ever tasted. It should be named Apple Cider Teriyaki so people don't think this is something it's not. I'm dumbfounded by how many people love this acidic "teriyaki" recipe... on top of that, it calls for white sugar! Hello.. Red Flag anybody?!
Anyway I give it a Green Splat... I know that's for Rottentomatoes.com but it's far more applicable here.

Tastes great ! I reduced the sugar and vinegar to half of what was required . I like my terriyaki sauce less sweet .

Great consistency and good flavor. Next time I will add a little less vinegar and some red pepper flakes.
