- 1 Tbsp. rice flour (Indonesian: tepung beras)

- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. coriander powder (Indonesian: bubuk ketumbar)
- 2 cloves garlic (Indonesian: bawang putih, grated)
- 2 scallions (Indonesian: daun bawang, cut into thin sliced)
- 200 mL water
- 4 Tbsp. sweet soy sauce (Indonesian: kecap manis)
- 5 Thai chilies (Indonesian: cabe rawit merah, seeded and thinly sliced)

Had to sub coriander powder with ground cumin, which I have in my pantry. It was tasty, and close enough to the real thing back home!
