- 2 granny smith apples (peeled and thinly sliced)
- 1 flour (scant tbs of, as a thickening agent)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (loosely packed)
- 1/2 lemon (about 1/2 tsp)
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/2 tsp. dried sage
- 1 tsp. orange zest
- 1 eggs (and splash of water for egg wash)
