- 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 tsp. light brown sugar (packed)
- 1/4 cup tangerine juice (freshly squeezed, About 3-5 tangerines. I used Sunburst tangerines.)
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. light brown sugar (packed)
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 tsp. corn starch
- 1 lb. steaks (sirloin tip, can also substitute flank steak, cut into 2-inch-wide strips with grain, and sliced thin across the grain on a slight angle, Your grocery store might have pre-cut stir-fry beef.)
- 3 large garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 Tbsp. fresh ginger (grated)
- 1 Tbsp. black bean sauce
- 1 tsp. tangerine zest (packed, grated)
- 3/4 tsp. red pepper flakes (I used ¼ teaspoon and it had a slight kick)
- 3 Tbsp. canola oil
- 2 cups fresh green beans (trimmed and cut into 2-3 inch pieces)
- 1 1/2 cups baby corn (cut fresh, cut into 2 inch pieces. If you can't find fresh, substitute canned baby corn.)
- 1/2 cup red pepper (thinly sliced, seeded, about ¼ to ½ of one pepper)
- 1 bunch green onions (cut into 2 inch pieces)
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 2 cups white rice (I use my favorite sushi rice, Nishiki brand)
