Idoubled the recipe with 1 pound ground beef and 1 pound ground deer, added an extra can of beans and diced tomatoes and some Coriander and red pepper! Ate it with tortilla chips! Super good!

This was delicious! I used 1/2 ground beef because we prefer less meat, only 1/2 packet of ranch, and beef broth (about 2/1/2 cups) instead of water as another person suggested. It had more than enough flavor and next time I’ll cut the ranch down to half!

Very good and super simple to make! Had some bell pepper, chopped up and added as well. Didn’t have tomato sauce, so used 2 tbsp tomato paste. Only needed 3 cups water and thickened a bit with cornstarch. Seasoned with a tbsp authentic Mexican hot sauce. Topped with shredded cheese, but wished we had sour cream as well.

Turned out fantastic! Didn't have tomato sauce or black beans so used fresh tomatoes and fat free refried beans... so much better than anticipated!!! Will definitely make again

I'm always skeptical of recipes that are this simple. Happy to say the entire family was pleasantly surprised by this one. I added green bell pepper and juice from half a lime (because I had them lying around and needed to use them) and half a teaspoon of cayenne. I also made cornbread to go along with it. It turned out way better than what I was expecting! We will definitely be using this recipe a lot!

Love this recipe! I make this at least once every couple of months. I double the recipe and use rotel in place of dies tomatoes. I add green chilis and red pepper to spice it up.

I made this once before and it was so good, I’m making it again tonight. The first time, I used ground chicken and added a can of hatch chilies. Tonight, I’m making it with ground turkey and northern beans (what I had on hand). I also use less water so it’s thicker. Super easy and super tasty!

I adjusted slightly (used leftover corn instead of canned), but it was very flavorful!

This recipe is awesome! The only change I did was substitute beef broth for the water. Makes it much richer. I will definitely make again and again!

So, I had most of the ingredients but didn’t want soup! I replaced the can of diced tomatoes with a can of Rotel! And added a can of tomato paste instead of sauce and only used enough water to get a thick chili consistency! It was fantastic and I served it over yellow rice with sour cream and shredded cheese! Will definitely make this one again!

Love it! I used 1lb of ground Turkey, two cans of chicken broth, one can of fire roasted Rotel with green chiles and one Roma tomato instead of tomato sauce, and three cans of water as well as one chopped up Serrano and minced a few cloves of garlic. 10/10 will make again! Thanks for the awesome recipe

Delicious and easy to make. I used beef broth instead of just water. It was super easy to make and enjoyed by all. We added a dollop of sour cream and I tossed in a few drops of tabasco for a nice kick.

It was a hit in our house where soup is just not that popular. halfway through the simmer process i added taco bell ranchero sauce and a little buffalo.
