  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 slices bread (soft fresh, not a "chunky" or "seed" bread, crumbled up)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves
  • 3 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 jalapeno pepper
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (I use chili-ready tomatoes, including the juice)
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt (preferably sea salt, Himalayan or Kosher salt)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro (optional)
