- 2 bay leaves

- 1 1/2 Tbsp. ghee
- 12 baby potatoes (small, about 1.5 cups in volume, note: you can use regular potatoes instead)
- 1/2 tsp. salt (or to taste)
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups onion (sliced in medium thick slices, about 1 vidalia onion)
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp. fresh ginger (minced)
- 1/2 tsp. garlic (fresh, minced)
- 4 cardamom pods
- 2 inches canela (stick, broken)
- 1/4 tsp. turmeric
- 1/2 tsp. salt (or to taste)
- 1 tsp. oil
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. ghee
