- 2/3 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 cup oil (your choice)
- 20 oz. pineapple chunks (drained)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar (use slightly less if using fresh, strong cider)
- 1 Tbsp. gluten-free soy sauce (I use San-J gf Tamari)
- 1 tsp. garlic salt

A celiac diagnosis is causing us the modify our recipes and this one did not disappoint!

It was very yummy! I substituted honey for the sugar, and it worked well. I also added yellow and orange peppers to the sauce. Served over rice with a side of green beans.

It was good I loved it but I didn’t have apple cider vinegar so I substituted it with rice vinegar since all the other S&S chicken recipes I’ve found included rice vinegar. It’s really good I recommend it
