I did not intentionally change this recipe, but, someone ate the bacon and I subbed ham sliced in cubes.. I also added sweet hot sauce on mine. I plan on making this again. My husband really liked it too.

Excellent!! Used thick sliced bacon and mixed the sweet and sour sauce in a shaker prior to adding to cabbage.
