I modified it and used molasses instead of sugar and added walnuts so it could be more nutritious and suitable for my little one. It was amazing!

I made this with fresh ground wheat from hard white wheat berries. I did add a pinch of baking powder and substituted honey for sugar. I also added extra cinnamon instead of nutmeg and added one extra egg to help with the changes in flour consistency. I cooked them in a Texas muffin pan. They ere delicious!

Such a tasty dish with lost of flavour! Made it in a muffin pan (baked at same temperature for 20-25min) and came out great! Will definitely make again.
