I made this for dimmer last night and it turned out great. I am new to cooking and other than the occasional grilled cheese sandwich or egg, I am a cook n by no means. I’m off for the next couple of weeks and decided to try my hand a cooking something since the weather was lousy. I found this recipe, went to the store, followed the directions exactly and it turned out awesome. Now I have something to eat with my grilled cheese.

This is an amazing and quick side dish to make, very tasty, I would recommend salting it a bit after it’s done though! Mother really enjoyed it too!

maybe add less butter. i love butter so it was fine for me but not my mom.
It’s good. Really good. If you find it too sweet (I did) you can personalize it by adding cayenne or obviously extra salt.

It was really good. I mixed it with tater tots, chicken tenders, and cheese to make my own version of the KFC famous bowl. it turned out great, but next time I make it I’ll use less sugar because it was almost to sweet.
