This recipe is really something special. 3 comments: Firstly, sugar is not necessary in the filling if using dark sweet cherries. Second, the top half of the crumble stays grainy if you bake half at a time. And finally, the crumble is way too sweet. I would cut the sugar in half. Otherwise this is a really fantastic recipe. Everyone loved the candied ginger in the crumble!

Soooooo good! Pitting the cherries was the hardest part, but the candied ginger in the crumb topping was inspired.
