Great recipe. I used frizen mixed vegetabkes and added a couple Tbls of worçheshire saue. To save time, use frozen whole potatoes in steamer package

Used 2 lbs of ground beef and the ratio of beef to veggies worked just right. Made 2 cups of gravy and used about a half a can of tomato paste to get to the flavor we liked.

this was so good! i dont like a tomato tasting sauce in my pies, so i left out the paste. other than that, delicous!

Surprisingly bland. Since it was the first time I made it, I didn’t doctor the recipe. Needed salt, pepper, Worcestershire, various other things.
Potatoes were a little thinner than I like for a good mash.

I didn't add tomato paste and used half the butter and it still came out awesome! The proportions of each part of the shepherd's pie was perfect and fit my casserole dish just right. I guess it's a sign that the family likes it too when there are barely any leftovers!

Delicious! I made a few changes: ground turkey, pan gravy with butter, flour, chicken stock, and seasoning blend, and fresh nutmeg in the mashed potatoes!

Recipe was great! My girlfriend and I added jerk sauce to the meat and it tasted fantastic! We also did a egg wash on the top and a layer of potatoes at the bottom for a base :) totally recommend
