Great base recipe! I added my own twist of spices, omitted the corn, added seasoned meatless crumbles & allowed to slow cook all day long to bring out flavor. Garnished with avocado, cheese & sliced jalapeños!

This was great, I added chipotle chilis in adobo sauce, added a lovely smokey flavor. Will make this again!

Super easy recipe. Could be prepped in the morning and be done and ready by the time you’re home from work or school. It definetly needed more seasoning and flavor, so I added a few tablespoons of worchestersire sauce, balsamic vinegar, chili powder and garlic powder.

The actual dish turned out well . It was a dish that could be simmered on the stove for 20 minutes rather than the crock pot for some hours.

I made this for a potluck and there was not one bean left in the crockpot when done it is an easy no fuss meal that I will be adding to my regular go to dish. My husband loves it to and the bonus that we are trying to eat less animal protein makes this a winner

Cooked a whole batch but forgot the chili seasoning.....d’oh! Luckily salvagable with hot sauce

Delicious!! Added a little barbecue sauce & forgot the black beans unfortunately but it was still great!! Friends and family loved it! Will def cook again!

I didn't like it and I could eat beans 24/7. The taste and texture didn't sit well with me. I definitely won't be making it again.
