- 16 oz. garbanzo beans (no liquid)
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes in oil (and herbs, and more for garnish)
- 1/8 cup extra virgin olive oil (start with ⅓ and add more if needed, I usually add)
- 1/2 lemon (a small)
- sea salt (to taste)
- 1 Tbsp. pine nuts (roasted, for garnish, optional)
- olive tapenade (For Black)
- 1 clove garlic (peeled)
- 15 oz. black olives
- 2 Tbsp. flat leaf Italian parsley (fresh)
- 1/2 lemon (a small)
- 2 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 20 medjool dates (pitted)
- 4 oz. soft goat cheese
- 10 strips bacon (thin sliced, cut in half)
- brown sugar
- sea salt
