- 1 cup whole grain spelt flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder (I use aluminum-free)
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 1/2 tsp. canela
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp. seeds (Chia)
- 4 bananas (small, or 3.5 medium ones)
- 2 Tbsp. coconut butter (Warmed slightly)
- 3 Tbsp. sunflower oil
- 1/2 cup maple syrup (pure Canadian, I use Medium/#2 grade)
- 7 cherries (pitted and chopped, for garnish, optional)
- coconut (unsweetened, for garnish, optional)
- extra virgin olive oil (for Sunflower Oil)
- 1 whole wheat flour (for spelt flour)
- ground flax (for chia seeds)
- 1 inch pecans (or walnuts! I made it without, but they would add a nice crunch!)
