I used cilantro and it came out great. don't be afraid to add some salt if it's a little bland

The onion was a little overpowering so next time I’d use a little less, but such a delicious summer salad overall! I used cilantro instead of basil and thought it complimented it well.

First- mayonnaise? No sir! I decided to take this super basic recipe and use a cilantro avocado base dressing very lightly. Grill the corn with red bell pepper and onion for a few minutes and then refrigerate for at least an hour. Basil is unnecessary. Then I added diced mango along with diced Roma tomato. Serve with black bean toasted chips. Quite nice!
It was just "meh" for us. Im going to keep playing around with it, but it was rather bland. I do like the idea of it as a summer side though.

Excellent!!! Perfect just the way it was. Used Sweet Jersey Corn .

What is all the hype about? I tried this recipe with high expectations from the reviews it received and was HIGHLY disappointed! This recipe is nothing more than watered down corn with lime and some onion recipe. The tomatoes do nothing for this recipe. The spice is the WRONG spice to incorporate with these ingredients. Tried it. Hated it! Will never make it again. Deleting it!

Love the summer freshness of roasted corn on the grill - other than that the recipe is perfect as is!

Very fresh, I stuck to the recipe and it was good. I decided to add bell pepper and fresh chopped spinach to add more color. Very good.

Love this simple go to salad in the summer. Used leftover corn on the cobb and whipped this up in 10 minutes. Great for summer concerts.

I add bell pepper and jalapeno, and instead of mayonnaise, I use Mexican crema and a little honey. I also crush BBQ corn chips up and sprinkle on top. We serve as a side dish and with nachos as a salsa, It is my most requested dish at any get together
