Description

- 1 kg pork loin
- 2 yellow onions
- 4 garlic cloves
- 100 grams sugar
- 1 tsp. fresh ginger (grated)
- 1 cup black soy sauce
- 1 tsp. oyster sauce

Directions
- Cut the pork into thin strips. Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic.
- Caramelize the sugar in a pan with some water. Once the caramel has become golden, add the meat and stir over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove the meat with a slotted spoon (the meat may stick to caramel: this is normal and will disappear) and let the juice evaporate a little. Add onions and garlic and brown for a minute. Put the meat back in the pan and add the ginger, oyster sauce, and soy sauce. Mix and cover tightly. Cook over low heat for 1 hour.
- Serve with white rice.
