    I made this today... Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend. I changed the seasoning for 60% course black pepper, 40% course salt, and a few tablespoons of Paprika. I also added pads of butter between the bacon and backstrap. I love this recipe.

    my husband hunts allot so I'm always looking for new recipes with venison. we tried this recipe and it is phenomenal it melts in your mouth all the flavors just go together so great. I actually gave some to my neighbor and she said it is the best meal she's ever had
