- 2 liters water (or enough to fill an 8 quart pot)

- 1 large onion (sliced)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup lemon juice

- 1/2 meat (kilo chopped, 1 pound)
- 1/3 cup white rice

- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 3 Tbsp. ketchup
