Made this recipe and it's really good but I wanted to hide the greek yogurt flavor a bit more so I made the following adjustments:
- replaced milk with half & half (also takes the place of whipped cream)
- Added 2/3 tsp vanilla extract (add this to taste)
- Added 2/3 tsp Honey (mine was orange blossom but feel free to choose your own)
- Added 1/2 tsp cornstarch (to lighten it up a bit)
- Added 1/3 tsp powdered sugar (for a bit more texture and to hide finish hiding the plain greek yogurt falvor)
The end result was VERY smooth and extremely tasty with the flavors being enhanced by the honey and the little bit of sugar added in. Maybe not quite as healthy with sugar I grant you but its so small an amount Im willing to go with it.
Excellent recipe here , I highly recommend! (and it's a wonderful base for trying out with other fruits, Im making a blueberry one next time!)
