- 2 2/3 cups plain flour (or all-purpose)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 6 Tbsp. cold milk
- 1 1/4 cups sugar (extra for sprinkling)
- 1/3 cup flour (all-purpose)
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 4 cups strawberries (halved, or 2 cups of strawberries and 2 cups of thinly sliced rhubarb. I originally used 4 1/2 cups of strawberries but the pie runneth over on the edges.)
- 2 Tbsp. butter (cut in squares)
- 2 tsp. milk
- 1 pie (dish, greased)
