I made this for Fourth of July and served it with blue corn chips. We ate all of it - it was a big hit. I didn't have a red onion so I used yellow. Go easy on the black pepper and definitely remove the jalapeno seeds. The strawberries are definitely the key. I was lucky enough to get sweet ripe ones. They were organic so maybe that helped.

Very easy to make. I read other reviews who used the entire pepper with seeds and still found the salsa mild... but that was not my experience. I found this recipe EXTREMELY spicy!!! 🔥🔥🔥 Next time definitely no seeds for me and maybe only half the pepper? 😓

This was a hit with the family tonight. So easy to make. Used scoop chips. Now I want to try it as a garnish to grilled fish.

I took the onions out of this recipe and served it at a party with "Ritz" crackers and cream cheese spread. The only thing that would have made it better is if I had made 3 times as much, it ran out really fast. THANK YOU SUSAN FOR SHAREING!
