Nice recipe, tho 1 egg was insufficient to bind the crumble to hold, so I added a few spoons of milk, did the job. I added less sugar too.

I love this recipe! My husband is diabetic and I am always looking for great dessert recipes which I can convert to sugar free. For this recipe, I used Splenda 1:1. They came out amazingly delicious. The beauty of this recipe is that I can use different fruits with the same result.

We enjoyed it with sliced bananas and whipped cream. i think it was really delicious the next day too.

Bad there was too much flour to egg ratio and the strawberries caramel used on my tray.😡😡

I reduced the amount of sugar to 120 grams (crust) and 90 grams for strawberries and it was still too sweet, and I added one more egg - turned out tasty but too mushy, gotta eat the pie with spoons :)

It was pretty good. I used strawberry pie filling because the store I went to didn't have enough strawberries but it still turned out well. I wasn't sure what it meant by "cut in butter", guess I'll have to look into that before I make this again.

Use more than half the dough on the bottom. I ended up with a very thick crumb layer on top. Otherwise, tastes great and was very easy to make!

Turned out good. Didn't know how to add the butter but it turned out ok for my first time.

Im disappointed. After reading the awesome reviews, I was expecting greatness. These are just okay. My topping was not crumbly and the bars were not sweet. I followed the recipe exactly. Next time I will use more butter and more sugar.

Turned out great!
I did make a little modification to the base layer.
I added 2 cups of flour instead of 3, separated 1/3 of the dry mix, and added 1 cup of honey graham crumbs to the remaining 2/3 flour mix (and divided up the butter and egg portion amongst both bowls). Everyone loved the graham bottoms and I really think it definitely added to the texture. I also took another readers tip and added in a spot of vanilla extract to the strawberries for some additional flavour. Made for a great Easter dessert!

It came out great...not too sweet, slightly tart. Just the way I like my sweets. I did add some blueberries. Thank you for this yummy treat.

super delicious! I would recommend cutting up the strawberries just before you assemble the bars. That will keep the bars from getting too wet! I will definitely make these again.

AMAZING!! So good I made them twice in one week! Everyone loved these in my household, will be making these a lot! Added more strawberries then the recipe called for the 2nd time I made them.

So yummy and very easy to make! I cut the recipe in half and put it in a loaf pan. I prepared the pan with about 2 tbsp unsalted butter and I was able to cut the bars out perfectly! I also added lemon zest on top of the first crumble layer and also in the strawberry mixture. A little vanilla in the strawberries and I'm in love!

This was SO delicious!! Especially with some homemade whipped cream on top! My husband loved it and could not get over it! It disappeared very quickly. I've made this numerous times now, and It just gets better with every bite.

Easy to make and delicious! These were a big hit with my ladies group and my husband! I used a few more strawberries than the recipe called for.

My mother used to make this for us when we were kids. But she used "Jiffy" cake mix and canned pie filling. Most likely due to a tight budget. While hers was VERY good! This recipe is quite DELICIOUS!!
