I dont know why the were very sticky. I followed the instructions but i dudnt like them

Needed double sugar to coat, double syrup and vanilla for 3 standard size plantains.

Really have to watch the timing to avoid burning them, but they were very good. just in case they burned I cooked them in batches and added the maple vanilla sauce afterward. Very tasty!

A little too sweet for my taste however, still delicious and a nice menu change.
