  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 2 tablespoons grated lemon peel
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon buttermilk

    Directions

    1. To prepare Dough, preheat oven to 425°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
    2. Add flour, lemon peel, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt to Bowl of KitchenAid® Artisan Stand Mixer. Attach Bowl and Flat Beater to Mixer. Turn to Speed 3 and mix 1 minute.
    3. Continuing on Speed 3, add milk, cream and butter to flour mixture; mix until just incorporated. Stop Mixer and scrape Bowl. Remove Flat Beater and attach Dough Hook. Turn to Speed 4 and knead 7 minutes.Transfer dough to lightly floured work surface. Roll out to large rectangle about ¼-inch thick.
