Description
Taken and modified from Trim Healthy Mamas. Similar to pancake syrup. Can use maple extract instead of butterscotch extract to make a maple syrup like sauce. Good on low carb pancakes. Glucomannan can be substituted with fiber such as Metamucil.
Ingredients

- 3 cups of water
- 1 tbsp butterscotch extract
- 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp stevia (or to taste)
- 1/8 tsp of salt
- 1/2 to 1 tsp Glucomannan or fiber

Directions
- Combine all of the ingredients except for the glucomannan into a medium saucepan
- Once everything is stirred in together, sprinkle the glucomannan lightly over the surface of the syrup, and whisk to incorporate.
- Taste and adjust the flavors (the gluccie tends to subdue the flavors somewhat), and turn the heat up to medium.
