This was my second time making this soup and I can assure you that it is the Real Deal. I have been living in Maryland for 40 years and have tried many varieties of Maryland Crab Soup, if you’re looking for a great soup give it a try.

Yay Steve! Delicious recipe! We live in MD too,, for as long as I can remember. Love the cabbage and I used edamame beans instead of Lima. I enjoyed the rich flavor and I didn’t have to adjust the seasoning at the end. And by the way, we live only about 1/2 mile from the McCormick Spice processing plant. Plus, by the way, I spent $24/dozen on the small size crabs yesterday and I didn’t want to throw away the extra 11 crabs that we didn’t eat Sunday, and picked them today. They were tiny, Like I said, it was delicious! Thanks again!
